Summer Sports Camps These weekly youth sports camps teach the fundamentals and basics of the various sports. Participants will be involved in drills and skill enhancement activities. Camp will help to teach the inexperienced and reinforce the skills of the experienced player. In the event of rain, the outdoor camps will move indoors to the Pitts Center (remember to bring sneakers each day). This year we are offering 2 seesions, a morning session and an afternoon session. For those who are attending both sessions, please be sure to bring lunch & drinks.

AUGUST All-Sports Camp (ages 6-12)

Girls Field Hockey Camp (grades K-12) Girls will be divided into groups for learning the fundamentals of field hockey play. Instruction is led by Dover High School staff and volunteers. all participants will receive a free t-shirt. Participants must supply thier own sticks and safety equipment. Camp Small Wonder (ages 1-13) Held at the Lab School on the Delaware State University campus, this camp offers children a wide range of activities, trips, mentoring, swimming, nature hikes, games, crafts and more. Limited space is available so early registration is strongly encouraged. Children must bring their own lunch, drinks and snacks daily. The City of Dover’s Extended Camp program is not available to these campers. Form of payment is limited to cash, checks or money orders. Sorry credit cards are not accepted for Camp Small Wonder registration. Dates: June 26 - August 9* No camp July 4

Extended Camps
AM Extended Camp
PM Extended Camp The extended camps are available for the participants of the Sports Camps, Super Summer Playground and Spring Break Camp.
AM Camp PM Camp
Super Summer Playground Camp (ages 6-12) Check out the City of Dover’s Super Summer Playground’s new format for this summer! 10 weeks of summer fun are planned with trips, crafts, special visits and so much more. These OUTDOOR weekly camps will be held at the Schutte Park Playground Pavilion. In case of inclement weather, camp will be moved inside the John W. Pitts Recreation Center. Children age six to twelve are eligible, age as of June 1, 2013, for these outdoor camps. Participants must provide their own lunch, drinks and snacks daily. Registration is limited to 50 youth. This year we offer weekly registration so you’ll only pay for the weeks you attend and if you attend more than one week we’re offering a discount. Even better, we’re also offering sibling discounts (of the same household). Extended Camp hours are now being offered in conjunction with this camp.
