Did you know...
That if you receive five or more parking tickets and those tickets are more than 30 days past due, or if your accumulated unpaid violations exceed more than $200.00, the Dover Police Department will immobilize your vehicle with a vehicle immobilization device or “traffic boot”.
Any vehicle immobilized or impounded will not be released to its lawful owner until all unpaid violations and applicable administrative fees issued to the owner have been satisified by payment in full, together with payment for the costs of immobilizing, releasing, and storing such vehicle.
