Library Visits
Dover Public Library created a story time just for you and the children you serve! Pre-registered big groups -- that is, groups of ten or more children from schools, daycare, clubs, camps, or other programs -- are welcome by appointment. The programs will include stories, songs, fingerplays, and fun! Since space is limited to 45 participants for each program, reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance by calling Audrey Avery, Head of Children's Services, at (302) 736-7034.
We hope you will take part in this exciting opportunity to expose children to books, libraries, and a lifetime love of learning! When you call to make your reservation, be prepared to provide a contact name, telephone number, mailing address, and the number and age range of the children who will be attending story time. We will follow up with a reminder call prior to your visit. Please let us know if you can not make the visit.
