The Finance Department is located in City Hall, 15 East Loockerman Street.

The Finance Department continues to serve our customers in Dover with open communication, timely
reporting of financial results, and prudent cash management. Through the team efforts of City Council,
the Mayor, City Manager, and employees, the Finance Department will insure compliance of policies
and procedures. The Finance Department will continue to strive to enhance government accountability
with a high standard of ethics and integrity. We will take a proactive approach to changes in economic
conditions and accounting methods.
Goals and Measurements:
- Development and implementation of performance measures and reporting
- Evaluating financing options for capital projects
- Validating fixed asset records
- Publish Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
- Finalizing GASB 34 project
