| ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE |

Fill The Bag and Feel The Joy! In an effort to help raise food for local food banks, we will be collecting non-perishable food items this holiday season, from November 25th through December 10th.
City of Dover office buildings (see list below) will have drop boxes to collect your food donations for this annual event. Donations will also be accepted at the Carolling On The Green event on December 10th.
The Dover Parks & Recreation Department and the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsors of the Annual Holiday Food Drive. Any business that would like to participate in the food drive by placing a collection box in their establishment, should contact the Parks & Rec office at 736-7050 for additional information.

| CAROLING ON THE GREEN |

The City of Dover Parks & Recreation Department and the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend Carolling on The Green on Wednesday, December 10th at 7:00 pm on Dovers' historic Green.
Bring your singing voices and holiday spirit and join us and community leaders from around the city, county and state in celebration.

| FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS |

Feel the Holiday Spirit come alive for the entire community as the City of Dover hosts its Annual Festival of Lights, at City Hall Plaza, on Monday, December 1.
The public is invited to attend the celebration which kicks off Dover's dazzling holiday season. The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm with the lighting of the trees by the Mayor, followed by the beautiful music of several youth groups and a special visit from Jolly Ole' Saint Nick! Be awed as thousands of lights bring the heart of Dover to life in its holiday finery.

| FIRST NIGHT DOVER 2009 |

First Night Dover is a New Year's Eve celebration of the arts that takes place in downtown Dover on December 31 from 3:00 p.m. to midnight.
The First Night festivities begin from 3-6 with our childrens activities that include magic, storytelling, comedy, a petting zoo, hands on activities, juggling, theater and more.
At 6:00 our Family Fireworks show takes place on legislative mall followed by our evening activities.
Join your family, friends and neighbors to ring in the New Year! Enjoy the various artists, music and activities that are planned for the whole family. End the evening with the traditional ball drop and fireworks on Legislative Mall.
This alcohol free event is fun for everyone!
