Looking for an outdoor summer activity for your 6-12 year old?  Check out our Super Summer Playground.  We have bundled a full summer worth of fun into one spectacular opportunity!  Want to spend time with friends at the Park playing games and sports - we can do that!  Want to get crafty with arts & craft projects - we can do that!  Want to go on Fun Field Trips  we can do that!  Our Playground staff will conduct various outdoor activities daily to keep everyone having fun doing these and more!

This outdoor program is for children 6 to 12 years of age (age as of 6/18/08).  The activity fee is $135 for the entire six week program.  Participants must provide their own lunch, drinks and snacks each day.  A limit of 50 participants will be accepted.  City of Dover residents may register at any time until the program fills to capacity.  Non-Dover registrant applications will be accepted beginning Monday, May 5^th.  Registration is based on a first paid ~ first served basis.  No Refunds!  We do not provide before or after care, playground hours are strictly enforced, please plan accordingly.

ALL SPORT SKILLS    Together, parents and preschool age children, ages 3 to 5, can learn and play various sports while practicing fundamental motor skills designed specifically for the young child. This class is a basic introduction to various sports (baseball, soccer, basketball, etc.) and will consist of skill stations, games and drills while stressing the fun of participating.  Age appropriate safe equipment will be used for teaching purposes. Participants are to wear sneakers. Minimum of 6, registrations.

Come join our new Summer Sports Camps.  There will be a variety of sports camps offered throughout the summer as listed below.  These camps will stress the fundamental and basics of the sport.  Participants will be involved in fun drills and skill enhancement activities.  Activities will help the inexperienced and reinforce the skills of the experiences player.  Each camper will receive a T-shirt.  In the event of rain, outdoor sports camp activities will be moved indoors to the John W. Pitts Recreation Center.
