POLICE PENSION BOARD
The Police Pension Board met on July 26, 2006 at 8:32 a.m. with Chairman Mullaney presiding. Members present were Mr. DePrima, Ret. Lt. Knotts, Ret. Capt. Gray, and Chief Horvath. Mr. Ruane and Mr. Hogan were absent. Others present were Mr. Szyjka, Mrs. Hawkins, Mrs. Mitchell, Mr. Unterkofler, and Mrs. Riggin.
AGENDA ADDITIONS/DELETIONS
Ret. Capt. Gray moved for approval of the agenda, seconded by Chief Horvath and unanimously carried.
Application for Pension Benefits – Jay W. Unterkofler
An application for pension benefits was received from Jay W. Unterkofler with 25 years, 3 months of service. He will be retiring under Section 62-75(a), 25 Years of Service. Mr. Unterkofler has chosen a lump sum payment for 150 days of sick time and 43.5 days of vacation, totaling 193.5 days, with official retirement beginning on June 30, 2006.
Ret. Lt. Knotts moved for approval of the application for pension benefits for Mr. Jay W. Unterkofler, to be effective June 2006, seconded by Chief Horvath and unanimously carried.
Ret. Lt. Knotts moved for adjournment, seconded by Ret. Capt. Gray and unanimously carried.
