The City of Dover Department of Public Works is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Motor Equipment Operator I in the Sanitation Department. This position is a combination of equipment operation and labor tasks and involves a variety of semi-skilled tasks associated with the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste. The successful candidate will work under a varying degree of supervision which will require an ability to contribute to the decision making process. Overtime is required as needed. The ability to perform medium to heavy work, lifting 75 pounds on an occasional basis is required.
