African American Festival

The African American Festival, sponsored by The Inner City Cultural League, Inc. is 13 years old. Started in 1989 as a craft show, The African American Festival "Positively Dover," is currently established as a tradition in central Delaware. Steeped in the culture of Africa and Africa America, this entertaining and historical event is viewed by many as the most dynamic event of the summer season in Dover. This event has grown tremendously over the years, with an audience of more than 15,000 participants.
