SPRING CLEAN UP WEEK

PRESS RELEASE

CITY OF DOVER

The City of Dover has designated April 21 through April 25, 2008, as SPRING CLEAN UP WEEK.   SPRING CLEAN UP WEEK is intended to encourage call citizens in the City of Dover to clean up and beautify their premises.   ALL SPRING CLEAN UP items should be put out the same day as your regular household garbage for pick up.  We ask residents to set out trash by 7:00 a.m. on the day of collection.  (NOTE:  The City of Dover WILL NOT pick up such items as cement, tires, bricks, and concrete blocks.  If you have questions regarding particular items for pick up, please call 736-7025.)

Spring clean Up Week is designated for residents of the City of Dover and does not apply to the out of city collection area.

Large bulk items may also be placed out the same day as your regular household garbage for pickup.  There will be NO CHARGE during this week for bulk items.

Loose leaves along the curb or in the alley will be collected during SPRING CLEAN UP WEEK.  The schedule for leaf collection, during this week, will be the day after your regular household garbage pickup day.

Citizens with questions should call 736-7025.
