Biographical Information

Jon Offredo, a Newtown, Pennsylvania native, is a recent transplant to Dover having arrived in the First State and its capital city by way of the News Journal. At the News Journal, Jon reported on state and local politics. Prior to landing in Delaware, Jon lived in Pennsylvania, Cape Cod, and in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, where he studied for his masters degree in Multimedia Journalism. Jon is a proud graduate of Newcastle University and West Virginia University.

Currently, Jon works for the Delaware Office of Defense Services as their legislative liaison and public information officer. Since moving to Dover, Jon has fallen in love with the history, community and spirit of the city. He lives on the Green with his fiancé, Jen, and their dog Bruno.
