PUBLIC MTG 12/7/2021 - ARPA Funding Available for Non Profits

City of Dover American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant availability for

Nonprofit Organizations

The City of Dover will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm at the Dover Public Library located at 35 Loockerman Plaza for a discussion regarding the eligibility requirements and Request for Proposal Submissions to apply for ARPA grants.

 

In response to Covid-19, a seating capacity of 25 persons will be allowed in the 

meeting room for each meeting and mask will be required. This meeting will also be held virtually. A link will be provided if you wish to attend the meeting virtually. You must R.S.V.P. if you plan to attend the meeting in person. Please email Tracey Harvey via email at tharvey@dover.de.us by December 1, 2021.

 

Minimum eligibility requirements for a Nonprofit Organization

 

  • Grant applications will only be accepted for projects responding to COVID 19 negative economic impact in the community
  • Must be an established 501(c )(3) for at least 1 year and provide copies of tax returns
  • All Nonprofit Organizations will be required to follow the Purchasing Policy

and Procedures for the City of Dover 

 

The interim Final rule includes eligible uses to support affordable housing and 

stronger neighborhoods in disproportionately impacted communities.  A list of 

eligible uses are listed in the Interim Final Rule by the Department of Treasury
