 Biographical Information

William G. Faust, Jr. was born and raised in South Jersey in a town called Barrington. In this small town, he served the citizens as a volunteer EMT for 10 years. He worked at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and for the JFK Hospital system in New Jersey as an ER Technician. He also taught CPR and AED for the JFK Hospital system. His parents taught him to always try to be the best person possible. In August of 2000, he moved to the State of Delaware to start his career in the Department of Corrections. He had the pleasure of serving the citizens of Delaware for 20 years. During his correctional career, he worked at James T. Vaughn in Smyrna for the first seven years of his career. He then transferred to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington until he retired. On June 30, 2020, he retired from the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Lt. In 2002, he purchased his first home in the City of Dover. He says, “It was the best decision of my life!” He graduated high school in 1981 from Penn Center Academy in Philadelphia. He attended Rutgers in Camden, New Jersey, and completed three years. He was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and is still very close to the friends he made in this group.

Mr. Faust is looking forward to serving the citizens of Dover to the best of his ability and will always make himself available to the citizens during his appointment.
