SPECIAL MEETING
May 21st, 1936
A special meeting of the City Council fo the City of Dover was held on Thursday, May 21st, 1936. The meeting was called to order by mayor J. Wallace Woodford and on roll call the following members answered present: Messrs. Downes, Hinkle, Frear, Burton and Keith.
Upon motion of Messrs. Downes and Frear, the City Council voted to accept the offer of the Equitable Life Insurance Company for the lot located on the corner of Loockerman Street Plaza and Legislative Street; also, to accept the plans and details of the building which is to be erected by them and to be used as an office building on this site.
Council adjorned at 12:05 P. M.
