SPECIAL MEETING
August 28, 1930
The meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 2:30 P.M. with the following members present: Clements, Hinkle, LeFevere, and Downes. The object of the meeting was to hear complaints against the settling of two additional gasoline pumps on the premises of Cecil A. Moore next to the line of Mr. William Sipple. After hearing complaints against same the Council, finding that they have no ordinances giving them authority to prohibit enlargement of the business, upon motion of Messrs. LeFevere & Downes, instructed the Clerk to issue a permit for the tanks in question.
PETITION FOR SHOULDERS
Upon motion of Messrs. LeFevere & Downes the Council instructed the City Manager to lay one additional block of shoulders, namely, between Bank Lane and Water Street on South Governors Avenue under same conditions that other shoulders were laid.
