REGULAR MEETING
June 30, 1930
Meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Messrs. Burton, Frear, Hinkle, & Keith.
MINUTES
Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Frear the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting was dispensed with.
CITY MANAGER’S REPORT
The attached report of the City Manager was accepted, ordered attached to the minutes, and filed upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Hinkle. Upon motion of Frear & Burton the City Manager was authorized to advertise for bids on the shoulders of four blocks on Governors Ave. and one block of King St. Bids are to be received for both Macadam and Buckite. Upon motion of Frear & Burton the City Manager was authorized to read the contract for grading of Hope St. At 60¢ per yard.
NOTICE FOR CURBS
The Clerk was instructed to notify all property owners on the streets where shoulders are to be built to have curbs laid at once.
ALDERMAN’S REPORT
The Alderman’s report for the month of June and fines collected amounting to $123.00 with 21 arrests. Check for same being turned over to the City Manager. Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Frear this report was ordered accepted and filed.
POLICE REPORT
The report of the police was accepted as read by the Clerk by Messrs. Burton & Hinkle.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Hinkle the following report of the Treasurer, after being read by the Clerk, was accepted, ordered placed in the minutes, and filed.
