REGULAR MEETING
April 14, 1930
Meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Messrs. Burton, Keith, Hinkle, LeFevre, and Clements.
MINUTES
Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Keith the reading of the minutes of the last regular and special meetings was dispensed with.
TRANSFER OF ALLEY
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle Clerk was instructed to have the City Solicitor draw a deed transferring the alley between the Budd property between Ross St. and the New Gov. Ave. Boulevard to Henry G. Budd.
CITY MANAGER’S REPORT
The attached report of the City Manager was accepted ordered placed in the minutes upon motion of Messrs. Burton and Keith.
Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Keith Council was appropriated $600.00 to be used to build shoulders on east Divn. St. from Murphy home to the Bridge.
ALDERMANS REPORT
The Aldermans report for the month of March and fines collected amounting to $112.00 with 24 arrests. Check for same being turned over to the City Manager. Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle this report was ordered accepted and filed.
POLICE REPORT
The report of the police was accepted as read by the Clerk upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Hinkle.
TREASURERS REPORT
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle the following report of the Treasurer after being read by the Clerk was accepted ordered placed in the minutes and filed.

FIRE COMPANY ELECTION
After examining the contents of the ballot box of the Robbins Hose Co. annual election, Council found the election returns as follows, Chief Harry R. Hancock, First Asst. John W. Argo, Second Asst. Earl U. Hayes, Election of these members was confirmed upon motion of Messrs. Hinkle and Burton.
BOARD OF HEALTH REPORT
The following attached report of the Secretary of the Board of Health after being read by the Clerk was accepted by Council upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle ordered attached to the minutes and filed.
ELECTION OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle the following names were elected on the City Board of Health for the ensuing year, Messrs.. Dr. L. A. H. Bishop, Dr. E. S. Anderson, Dr. Jos. S. McDaniel, Eldad L. Clark, Herman C. Taylor, W. S. Bostic and W. C. Boyer.
SALARY OF SECT. OF BOARD OF HEALTH
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Burton, the Clerk was instructed to issue an order on the Treasurer for $50.00 for six months salary of Secty. of Board of Health. Also to issue an order of $15.00 for the appropriation of the expense of the City Board of Health for the next six months.
