REGULAR MEETING
March 10, 1930
The meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 7:45 P.M. with the following members present: Messrs. Burton, Clements, Keith, Hinkle, & Clark.
MINUTES
Upon motion of Messrs. Clements & Keith the reading of the minutes of the last regular and Special Meetings was dispensed with.
CITY MANAGER REPORT
The attached report of the City Manager was accepted ordered placed in the minutes, upon motion of Messrs. Kieth and Hinkle.
ALDERMANS REPORT
The aldermans report for the month of Feb. And fines collected amounting to $221.00 with 21 arrests. Check for same being turned over to the City Manager. Upon motion of Messrs. Burton and Hinkle. This report was ordered accepted and filed.
POLICE REPORT
The report of the Police was accepted as read by the Clerk upon motion of Messrs. Burton & Clements.
TREASURERS REPORT
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Clements the following report of the treasurer after being read by the Clerk was accepted ordered placed in the minutes and filed.

COMMITTEES
A committee of ladies from the Century Club appeared before Council in behalf of the City Library asking that Council consider giving some financial aid to carry on the Library. Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle the City gave financial aid to the extent of $500.00 for the year of 1930. Payable June 1st 1930 to Mr. John Carrow Treas.
Mrs. Robt. Lewis appeared before Council asking financial aid for the Playground for the year of 1030. Council advised her that same would receive consideration and report to her at later date.
RESOLUTION
A Resolution Memorializing Congress of the United States to enact House Joint Resolution 167, Directing President of the United States to Proclaim Oct. 11th of each year as “General Pulaski’s Memorial day was adopted as read upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Clements.
