REGULAR MEETING
February 10, 1930
The meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present, Messrs. Clements, Clark, Keith, Hinkle, and Frear.
MEMBERS SWORN IN
Newly elected members Keith, Clark and Pres. Woodford were sworn in by Alderman Burton.
MINUTES
Upon motion of Messrs. Clark & Clements the reading of the minutes of the last regular and special meetings was dispensed with.
CITY MANAGERS REPORT
The attached report of the City Manager was accepted ordered placed in the minutes and filed, upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Clements.
A letter from the East Coast Utilities Co was read by the Clerk regarding the contract with said Co. to furnish electric current at a minimum of 4100.00 per month. Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle Council voted to relieve the East Coast Utilities Co. of this contract and to make a new contract with them for both parties to furnish stand by service at a rate of 2¢ per KWH.
ALDERMANS REPORT
The Aldermans report for the month of January and fines collected amounting to 47.00 with 9 arrests. Check for same being turned over to the City Manager. Upon motion of Messrs. Clements and Clark this report was ordered accepted and filed.
POLICE REPORT
The report of the police was accepted as read upon motion of Messrs. Clements & Clark.
TREASURERS REPORT
Upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Clements the following report of the treasurer after being read by the Clerk was accepted ordered placed in the minutes and filed.

SOLICITORS REPORT
The Solicitors report for the year for 1929 was accepted as read by the Clerk and ordered filed upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle.
LETTER OF INVITATION
A letter from Battery G 198th. Dela. National Guard inviting Council and City Officers to the Governors inspection of the Guard was read by the Clerk, same was ordered filed by the Clerk.
1930 BUDGET
The City Managers Budget for the year of 1930 was read by the Clerk for Councils consideration before next regular meeting.

Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Clements the salary of the City Solicitor and the City Treasurer was to remain the same as previous. City Solicitor $200.00 City Treasurer $300.00.
PAYMENT OF SOLICITOR SALARY
Upon motion of Messrs. Clements and Clark the Clerk was instructed to draw order on the Treasurer for the payment of the Solicitors Salary.
TREASURERS BOND
Upon motion of Messrs. Hinkle & Keith Council instructed the Clerk to secure a Surity Bond for the amount of $10,000.00 for the City Treasurer Mr. W. S. Haman.
