SPECIAL MEETING

April 5, 1928

MEMBERS PRESENT

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: President Woodford, Messrs. LeFevre, Clements, Burton, Clark, Keith, Hinkle, Downes, and Frear.

TAX RATE

The tax rate of 95¢ per hundred, 10¢ per hundred of this amount to be retained for sinking fund, was decided upon by Council for the year of 1928.

NEW POLICE

Upon motion of Messrs. Keith & Downes Mr. E.I. Lane was retained as police of the town for the coming year.

DAMAGES TO PROPERTY

Upon motion of Messrs. Frear and Hinkle council decided to pay Susan Thompson on Washington St. $25.00 damages for crossing her property with the new sewer system.

ADJOURNMENT

Council adjourned at 9 P.M.
