REGULAR MEETING
July 12, 1926
The meeting was called to order by President Woodford at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Messrs. Burton, Clements, Clark, Keith, Hinkle, Frear, and Downes.
Reading of minutes
The minutes of the last regular meeting and three special meetings after being read by the Clerk were approved by Council on motion of Messrs. Downes & Burton.
Alderman’s Report
The Aldermans report for the month of June showed 14 arrests and fines collected amounted to $44.40.
Supts. Report
The following report of the Supt after being read by the Clerk was accepted by Council on motion of Messrs. Downes & Frear.

Authorization of Sinking Fund
Council acting on motion of Messrs. Keith & Burton, authorized the Treas. to open a sinking fund of $5,000 in the farmer’s Bank at Dover for the retirement of City Bonds.
Notice to George H. Thomas
The Clerk was authorized to notify George H. Thomas to repair his side-walk & curb on the East side of Penna. Ave. by Sept. 1, 1926.
Petition for Automatic Traffic Signal at the Corner of Gov. Ave. and Division Street
The petition for the above mentioned light, was referred to the Street Committee with no instructions from Council.
Sign for Chamber of Commerce
Council acting on motion of Messrs. Keith & Burton, understand that the sign of the Chamber of Commerce, placed on the lands of J. L. B. Hutchinson is to be removed at the request of Mr. Hutchinson.
