SPECIAL MEETING
May 10, 1926
A Special Meeting was called to order at 11 A.M. by W.D. Clements Acting President of Council with the following members present, Messrs. LeFevre, Downes, Burton, and Clark.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the advisability of drilling a new Artesian Well. Mr. Shannahan of the J. H. K. Shannahan Artesian Well Co., was present and offered to submit proposals for a 12" well and would have same before this body on May 11, 1926.
Notices regarding Water Supply
It was decided by Council to distribute Hand Bills appealing to the public to conserve water until the supply could be sufficiently brought up to the present demand.
Council directed Supt. Shank to have installed (Water Meters) in all public garages, canneries, ice cream plants, and etc., at the earliest possible convenience.
