SPECIAL MEETING

October 21, 1925

Members present Woodford, Downes, LeFevre, Clements, Keith, Burton, Frear, Hinkle and Clark.

Election of Manager

The Council after some discussion acting on motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Keith elected Mr. L. D. Shank as the Manager of the Dover Electric Light and Water Department at a salary of $3,500.00 per year to begin November 23, 1925 at which time Mr. Shank will take charge.

New Town Office

Council acting on motion of Messrs. Clements & Hinkle instructed Mayor Woodford to rent the office formerly occupied by Mr. H. I. Beers in Priscilla Block to be used as the town office beginning November 1, 1925, at $25.00 per month.

Payment of J. O. Wolcott Water Main

Council acting on motion of Messrs. Clements & Clark authorized the payment to J. O. Wolcott Esq. for his part in the Water Mail according to the ordinance less $12.50.

Fine Refunded

Council acting on motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Downes authorized the refunding of a fine of $2.80 imposed by the Alderman for wrong parking by Mr. L. Irving Jones.

Prices on Water Meters

The Clerk was directed by Council acting upon motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Downes to secure prices on Water meters (1200) and be prepared to submit prices at the regular meeting in November.
