SPECIAL MEETING

March 13, 1925

The Meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Mayor Woodford. Members present as follows Messrs. Downes, LeFevre, Clements, Burton, Frear, Clark and Hinkle.

Purpose of Meeting

The meeting was called for the purpose of hearing the report of Mr. W. J. Deery about the installation of the Steam Turbine now being considered by Council.

Removal of Trees from Wilds Property

Council acting on motion of Messrs. Clements and Clark granted permission to the Peoples Church to remove trees in front of Wilds property recently purchased by them.

Purchase of Truck by Street Committee

Council acting on motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Clark authorized the Street Committee to purchase a truck to be used by said committee.

Report Accepted and Bind issue Authorized

Council acting on motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Burton accepted the report as presented and furthermore the Solicitor of the Town be authorized to prepare and introduce a bill in the Legislature granting the Town of Dover the right of a bond issue of $60,000.00 to be used for the purpose of installing a turbine engine at the light and water plant. Committee LeFevre, Downes and Woodford.
