Dover, Delaware March 21st, 1921.

A special meeting of Council was held at 7:30 P. M. with the following members present: Burton, Caulk, Bice, Hancock, Hopkins, and Magee and Keith. 7.

The object of the meeting was to receive and examine the list of Taxables of the Town for the year 1921, from the Assessor, Mr. VanSant.

The list was gone over by Council and such changes made as deemed was accepted by vote of Council.

Pay of Assessor: On motion of Messrs Hancock and Keith the Clerk was directed to draw an order for $150.00 for the Assessor for making out the assessment as presented.

Assessment of the Property of the Assessor: On motion of Messrs Burton and Hancock the House on Governors Avenue belonging to Frank VanSant was assessed at $1200. by vote of Council.

Per Capita Tax: On motion of Messrs Keith and Hancock the Capitation tax for the town for 1921 was fixed at $600.

Making up Transcript for 1921: On motion of Messrs Burton and Keith the Clerk was instructed to make up the copies of the Transcripts, three in number per list of the Tax assessor presented this P. M. and accepted by Council, and to post copies in the Post Office and Town Office.

On motion of Messrs Keith and Burton the Clerk was instructed to order a new Tax book from the makers, for 1921.

Election of Robbins hose Judges of Elections: On motion of Messrs Hopkins and Keith the following gentlemen were nominated and elected by Council to serve as Judges of election at the Robbins Hose Company annual election; John C. Hayes, George G. Clendaniel, and S. H. Carson.

Report of the election by the Robbins Hose Co.: The ballot box containing the votes of the Robbins Hose Co. was presented to Council under seal and upon being opened and the votes counted resulted as follows:

1st Asst. Chief Engineer,        Thomas Holston

2nd Asst. Engineer,                 Harry R. Hancock

On motion of Messrs Burton and Keith the above named gentlemen were accepted by Council to serve for the current year as officers of the Hose Company, per their vote.

Adjourment: On motion of Messrs Keith and Hancock Council voted to adjourn.
