UTILITY COMMITTEE

The Utility Committee Meeting was held on November 8, 2004, at 5:30 p.m. with Chairman Carey presiding. Members present were Councilmen Ruane and Sadusky, Mr. Cregar, and Mr. Snaman. Members of Council present were Mr. Pitts (arrived at 5:57 p.m.), Mr. Slavin, Mr. Ritter, Mr. Hogan (arrived at 6:02 p.m.), and Council President Williams. Mayor Speed was also present.

Agenda Additions/Deletions

Mr. Sadusky moved for approval of the agenda, seconded by Mr. Ruane and unanimously carried.

Water System Master Plan

Mr. Koenig, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Andy Cooper of Whitman Requardt and Associates, presented a Power Point Presentation of the Water System Master Plan - Workshop #1 (Attachment #1). He noted that Workshop #2 should be held in January and 30 days later, Workshop #3 will be held. There will be a 30 day comment period, with an anticipated acceptance of the Plan by City Council to be accomplished in March 2005. Mr. Koenig stated that the Plan will be utilized in the development of the Budget and Capital Improvement Plan.

Mr. Cregar moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Sadusky and unanimously carried.
