SPECIAL MEETING
March 17, 1952
A special meeting of City Council was held Monday, March 17, 1952, at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor Haman presiding. Councilmen present were Messrs Book, Helm, Holpp, Davis, Mundy and Tischer.
HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY
Council authorized granting, without charge, to the State Highway Department a portion of he ball park land required for a right of way for a dual highway to run from the Dover By-Pass to the rear of Legislative Hall, with the provision that the Highway Department provide two entrances from the Highway to be constructed to the property owned by the City. Mr. Helm voted No.
COMMITTEE ON TAX APPEALS
council authorized the appointment of a committee of three councilmen to sit Monday, April 14, 1952, at City Hall, from 1 to 4 P.M. to gear tax appeals. Mayor Haman appointed Councilmen Helm, Petty and Book as the committee.
GARDEN COURT SEWER & WATER LINE
Council directed the City Solicitor to investigate the obligation to the City of Garden Courts, Inc. for sewer and water lines constructed by the City and, if possible, to enter judgement for the amount due.

By unanimous vote, Council approved the following Resolution:
