SPECIAL MEETING

                                                                                                June 7th, 1939

            A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Dover was held on the 7th day of June, 1939. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Woodford at 2 P. M., and on roll call the following members answered present: Messrs. Downes, Frear, Millman, Hinkle and vane.

PURPOSE OF MEETING

            This meeting was called for the purpose of making a decision regarding a new 12” well to be drilled on Division Street near the water tank. Upon motion of Messrs. Downes and Vane, the City Manager was instructed to have a new 12” well dug on the lot where the water tank is situated; also, to purchase an automatic deep-well pump and have same installed.

            Upon motion of Messrs. Vane and Frear, the City Council voted to protest to the State Liquor Commission the granting of any additional liquor permits in or around the City of Dover.

            Council adjourned at 2:30 P. M.
