  • If you are NOT making changes to your benefits, no action needs to be taken UNLESS 
    you cover a spouse on your medical plan - see spousal coordination of benefits section below. 
  • No documents will be accepted after May 16th, 2025 
  • All documents should be returned to humanresources@dover.de.us or the drop box 
    located in the lobby at 5 E. Reed St.

457 Changes - DOE and IBEW Employees ONLY 

Per the DOE, AFSCME, & IBEW Union Contracts: 

"Each May during Open Enrollment, employees will have the opportunity to change their 
contribution to the 457 plan. The change will be effective July 1st, 2025 and irrevocable until the 
following July 1st, 2026. " 

All Non-Bargaining and AFSCME Employees can change their 457 contributions during this open enrollment 
period. 

Effective 7/1 all Non-Bargaining Employee's 401 contribution plan will change to 6%. 
THIS WILL BE MANDATORY.  

If you are interested in changing your contribution to the Mission Square or Nationwide 457 plans, 
please complete the forms below. 

*DOE Union Contract July 1st, 2024 - June 30, 2027, Section 25. 401 Retirement Contribution

*IBEW Union Contract July 1st, 2024 - June 30, 2027; Section 42.  401a Money Purchase Plan

*AFSCME Union Contracts July 1st, 2024 - June 30, 2027; Article 34. 401 Retirement Contribution (Deferred Income)
