City of Dover Election Information

REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Regular City of Dover Municipal elections are held in odd-numbered years on the third Tuesday in April.  The Mayor and nine Council Members are elected to four-year staggered terms on a non-partisan basis.  Two members are elected from each of the four Council districts; the ninth member of Council and the Mayor are elected at large.

SPECIAL FIRST (1ST) DISTRICT MUNICIPAL ELECTION - AUGUST 18, 2020
The Special Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.  In order to be eligible to vote in this election, you must be registered to vote by Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.  The polling place for this election is The Elks Lodge #1903 - 200 Saulsbury Road - Dover, DE 19904.
