Mrs. Wanda Jean Mullen was born on June 23, 1970 on Tate Spring Road in Lynchburg, Va. From that very inspiring moment, life began and it has since been a divine, out of the ordinary journey.

Wanda’s life has been filled with many MIRACLES. Many that have been shared with people for the edifying of the body of Christ, and many that have not been shared. Wanda Mullen is a God fearing woman, definitely a woman with morals and values, and a foundation built on Godly Principles that she contributes and give thanks to the Late Lester & Bernice Waller (her grandparents). One will often hear Wanda make reference to the crediting of her spiritual and physical makeup to her “grandfather”. He was very instrumental in her life and she contributes a lot of grooming to her upbringing.

Wanda’s life has definitely been one that has endured many challenges, but yet she comes out with a victory and her hands lifted up.

Wanda wears many hats; she is the wife of Pastor Herbert JR Mullen III, mother of 2 sons (JR & Jairus Mullen) grandmother of 2, the 2nd oldest of 8 girls, and an advocate for many friends & family members. Wanda is active in the church and her community. She is the President of the White Oak/ Towne Point Civic Association, Active Member of Parent Coalition, very active with the school. Wanda has served her community for many years through many different methodologies. The passion for caring for the welfare of people regardless of their socioeconomic status, race, sex, color, or gender identity are the is what makes Wanda the woman she is today. Wanda’s main concern has always been liberty, social justice equality, and justice for all, which are some of the principles our country was built upon.

Wanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Human Service, Specializing in Social & Community Work. Wanda is a Motivational Speaker to the young people encouraging them that they can be whatever they want to be as long as they put God first, the stars are the limit. Wanda currently is employed with Psychotherapeutic Services Inc. Wanda is the Program Manager for the TANF Case Management Program for the state of Delaware. Wanda will soon be transitioning on to further her career exportations to a new program within the PSI Company called the Multisystemic Therapy Program.

Through all of her tragedies, triumphs and victories she has learned to strictly model her life after the precepts of faith.
