City of Dover Election Information 

REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Regular City of Dover Municipal elections are held in odd-numbered years on the third Tuesday in April.  The Mayor and nine Council Members are elected to four-year staggered terms on a non-partisan basis. Two members are elected from each of the four Council districts; the ninth member of Council and the Mayor are elected at large.


INFORMATION REGARDING THE SPECIAL FIRST (1ST) DISTRICT MUNICIPAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 16, 2021
The Special First (1st) District Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The polling place for this election will be The Elks Lodge #1903 - 200 Saulsbury Road, Dover, DE 19904. City Council approved this polling place selection during their Regular Meeting on October 11, 2021.
